What Are Some Green Christians Doing During Lent?

How delightful it is when St. Margaret’s parishioners forward green things they think might be of interest to your LEED consultant. So, thanks, and keep it coming. You’re getting greener. I can tell.
Called “Carbon Fast 2014: Your 40-Day Guide to Taking the Path Less Travelled This Lent” (great title, as you’ll discover), this calendar contains recommended daily to-do’s. Here’s a sampling of the headers: “Week # 1- Stuff; and, “Week #5- Reduce, Reuse, Recycle… and Fix!
Each week of the calendar has a theme with a prayer, a resource to check out, and both individual and community actions suggested–even something that could “change the system.”
Easy enough to download, print out and, with a magnet or two, stick on the fridge.
BTW, do you know what the Five Marks of Mission are in the Episcopal Church? Check it out here, particularly #5.
P.S. You could make your own fridge magnets with the kids, or your grandma.
