** Happy Earth Day 2016 **

As this day becomes increasingly recognized and celebrated year-to-year, with many good works attendant, I wish to call out John Muir

“Everybody needs beauty as well as bread, places to play in and pray in, where nature may heal and give strength to body and soul.”

and,

“Keep close to Nature’s heart… and break clear away, once in awhile, and climb a mountain or spend a week in the woods. Wash your spirit clean.”

and, finally, from the Song of Solomon 2:12

“Flowers are appearing on the earth. The season for singing has come. The cooing of doves is heard in our land.”
