bikrack_wbckgrndSeveral parishioners ride their bikes to church on Sundays. (I’m not going to call it exercising for the Gospel.) You can have spaces for their transportation needs too—bike racks. Matter of fact, the LEED program encourages alternative means of transportation to the auto, i.e., busses and bikes. Back to lowering transportation-related GHGs by fossil-fuel-saving Giddy-Ups. For installing some bike storage and a shower/changing room for bicyclists—and other users such as the Day School and Youth groups—you can earn a point toward our goal of LEED Silver and your pledge of environmental stewardship.
